Start your morning right with Tiril Millet – a wholesome, nutritious breakfast packed with energy and goodness.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup Tiril Foxtail Millet or Pearl Millet
– 2 cups water
– 1/2 tsp Tiril Turmeric Powder
– Salt to taste
– 1 tsp mustard seeds
– Curry leaves
– 1 tbsp ghee or oil
– Fresh coriander for garnish
– Lemon juice
Method:
1. Wash and soak millet for 15 minutes.
2. Heat ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
3. Add millet and lightly roast for 2 minutes.
4. Add water, turmeric, and salt. Cover and cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
5. Fluff with a fork and garnish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon.
6. Serve hot with coconut chutney or yogurt.
